According to tfl.org, "A fanlisting is simply an online list of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are), they are just a place where you can sign up with other fans."
Jade Curtiss
Jade Curtiss appears in Namco's Tales of the Abyss, both the game and the official manga, the latter being what this fanlisting deals with. He is a colonel of the Malkuth empire, highly skilled in Fonic Artes and known as "the Necromancer." On top of that, he's clever, brutally sarcastic, and something of a scientific genius. In fact, it turns out that he may be responsible for much of the story's conflict. If you'd like to learn more, head on over to Element, my somewhat-massive shrine to Jade.
why?
Jade has made his way into my list of favorite characters of all time, and quite possibly is at the top. If you're really curious why, you can read my silly ramblings at Element. Anyway, the Tales of the Abyss manga really surprised me in terms of quality. The artwork is gorgeous and it's awesome to see the story played out in pictures. And of course, Jade is still made of awesome, even in black and white action. And so I made a fanlisting for his manga incarnation. Isn't that nice? The title "Life & Death" deals with the two basic things that Jade has a hard time understanding (futher babbling about that topic can be found at Element as well), something that really drew me to his character.
