this man, jade, has terrible fashion sense
Doctor Mambo Jade mentions that he was studying on become a doctor, specifically an autopsist,
but became a soldier instead. Still, when the party ventures to Belkend and comes in contact with an unknown poison, it's left to Jade to
figure out an antidote when the doctor is found missing. And for some reason he needs to change into some sweet doctor gear, complete with
really high heeled shoes. Hmm. You can choose any party member to experiment the antidote on, including Asch, but choosing Guy, Luke, Tear, or
Anise will reward you with a skit.
Obtain: Go to the lab (up, up, left) in Belkend after finding Natalia in Baticul port.
Title effects: Nothing.
Evil Fonist? Emperor Peony took it upon himself to make costumes for the party before their
battle with Van. Most of these are pretty nice, minus Luke who looks like a Kingdom Hearts reject. Jade gets a costume that makes him look like
"an evil fonist from a fairy tale," according to Guy. Jade sees it as something that Peony did only to embarrass him. But he gets some
awesome Harry Potter glasses and a cape, and you cannot go wrong with that.
Obtain: Enter Eldrant, then speak with Peony in Grand Chokmah.
Title effects: Nothing.
Resort King When Emperor Peony's interestingly named pet rappigs (Luke, Jade, Gelda, Saphir,
Aslan, and Nephry) go missing, the party is left with the task of searching the castle for them. After Peony embarrasses Jade profusely
and the rappigs are found, he rewards them with a membership to a spa with a really long name in Keterburg. And also kindly provides
the party with bathing suits, though we never get to see what he picked for Jade. But I'm betting he didn't like it. You also get to see a cutscene
where Jade and Luke make poor Guy accidentally grope Tear and Natalia, making the rappigs totally worth it.
Obtain: After clearing the Absorption Gate and getting everyone back, speak with Peony in Grand Chokmah and find his
rappigs. Then head to the spa in the hotel in Keterburg.
Title effects: Nothing.
Battle Master "In the event that a man named Jade wearing a Malkuth military uniform joins the
tournament and emerges as champion, you are to present his prize with him dressed in the outfit we have provided. This man, Jade, has terrible fashion sense,
and this provision is for the sake of avoiding embarrassment to the Malkuth Forces. You are hereby commanded to ensure that he wears it." - Emperor Peony
IX, Malkuth Empire.
Obtain: Beat the Advanced Single Match in the Baticul Coliseum with Jade.
Title effects: Gain 3 Overlimit points every 15 seconds while walking or running.
Abyss Blue Another lovely costume from Peony! This time he's taken upon himself to make outfits for the party
(including Asch) based on "Abyss Men," his favorite "show." The costumes are based on those worn in "sentai" shows, meaning...
Power Rangers. And Guy's voice actor is a former Power Ranger, making it all the more amusing. Putting the characters in these costumes will sometimes
make them say their Abyss Man colors after battle.
Obtain: Second playthrough+, after clearing the Absorption Gate and getting everyone back, speak with the maid
right outside Peony's bedroom.
Title effects: Nothing.
